Body BLEACH??

C.R.F is soo sorry for its long absence but lets face it..school getting rough and my timetable isn’t exactly blogger-friendly..

Sooo let’s get right into it:

There’s this girl…let’s call her “M.J” who was up to earlier this year a nice brown-skin girl. C.R.F almost had a heart attack when they saw her waltzing through the gates with a whole new color! The girl practically WHITE. C.R.F isn’t a hater..let’s leave that to MAC..but she serious??? We guess a bucket of bleach throw wey on she too coz is not just her skin she bleach..her hair is now blonde..

On to other good stuff:

A certain Upper 6th girl who up to 2 days ago had straightened hair turned natural overnight..(literally). C.R.F is well affiliated with hair products and hair but it is beyond us how anyone could make such a transformation within barely 12 hours…

In other headlines:

C.R.F was sitting having lunch today when a certain girl (Upper 6th agen) who is usually in pants passed in a skirt that is unusually LONG..It isn’t the skirt that is C.R.F’s problem..its the SHOE..C.R.F cant even describe how horrible the shoe is..laced..chunky heeled..nd SOCKS.

Good News:

C.R.F saw the appearance of a hotttt shoe the other day..but administration must have caught up with the person coz it was only showcased for a couple hours. CRF must congratulate da owner of that shoe..

…Don’t forget the shoe competition!

Until Next time..

SHE HAIR DOA MOVE

CRF was stopped by a concerned male student recently who seemed thoroughly confused as to why “her hair don’t move.” The male seemed to be at a complete loss as to why “breeze could blow strong strong and she hair doa move at all.” This concerned student seemed to express the confusion of the males in the school and obviously quite a few members of the student population. All confusion is going to be put to rest now- she ha in weave!
CRF wrote recently about whole-head weaves and how they look extremely wig-like. Personally, whole-head weaves aren’t my thing but, we must admit the style of the weave is quite a cute one.. it just does not look realistic in anyway!
In other headlines
The “rules” were dispatched at the first assembly today where the student population was informed that:
Colored earrings and accessories aren’t allowed.
Shirts must be buttoned right up.
“Waistcoats must cover the butt area..it must not fall at the waist”
CRF was absolutely disturbed by this information. No COLORED ACCESSORIES? Must we all look the same? Art students were especially disturbed by this as they feel it is stifling their creativity. As far as the WAISTcoat is concerned..I think that a WAISTcoat is made to fall at the waist. The uniform already ain nothing special already..must we look worse?

Until next week!
Leh we see if ppl really follow dey rules

CRF has wrote time and time again about the shortage of cloth on the skirts the upper sixth girls are wearing and, even ventured on to say that “they” might not make it to graduation. The lecturers have seemed to notice and have now told the security guard to try to prevent the students from entering the compound (This is an issue for Man About College)
We were also told that eye-shadow and certain earrings would no longer be allowed. CRF does not know how true this is, but if it is infact true then its absolutely ridiculous. Do they think they’re dealing with a bunch of 12 year olds? It is quite alright to have rules, but CRF disagrees with the way in which it seems as if the students (especially the females) are being molded into one robotic person. There is nothing wrong with there being rules to maintain the uniform but accessories and eye-make up all aid to express creativity and individuality..we are all different..why not show it!

CRF was also distraught when they saw a certain lower sixth female (who has been featured here once before) in a pink, black and white shoe (with more pink and white than any other color). We know that this isn’t Secondary school and the freedom of expression may seem liberating but wait until the SECOND week of school nuh! We aren’t saying that the shoe isn’t hot and the person shouldn’t be congratulated for even owning the shoe but is it really necessary?? Inquiring minds are wondering if it is the lower sixthers fault that we are having the “security” problems.
CRF also noticed more than one whole-head weave today. If you want to wear a weave try make sure it look realistic before you come school looking like your wearing a wig!

And now..the heat
The place is EXTREMELY HOT and the poor girls have to be wearing a waistcoat to make matters worse! We should really get a new uniform or implement a system where the waistcoat is only worn during the cooler days… its ridiculous to expect us to be able to function in classrooms with over 30 students, no fans and hardly any natural ventilation in this winter uniform.

We go see tmr! Doa forget to enter the shoe competiton..the pink black and white shoe shud go in

Lower Six Reach!

Everybody has been sticking their heads out off class today to see the newcomers strut their stuff through our beautiful gates and inhale the wonderful smell of our still being cut grass..
C.R.F parked themselves at school bright and early this morning to see just what these people who were soo excited to rid themselves of their strict Secondary School rules would do when they got their taste of freedom.
Just as CRF suspected, weaves and hair pieces were on sale today and the natural chicks went straight.
Some even cut off ALL of their hair and stuck in piece of yellow weave..
Skinny pants were also a popular item among our new ones and we saw an awful number of skirts. What happened to “ d college skirt na look good.”? Apparently it looks good enuff becoz we saw a lot of skirts..skirts below the knee (where Mrs.Vanloo would like all our skirts), skirts right above the knee and skirts on the THIGH. Inquiring minds would like to know if parents saw this person(s) leave home this morning.

On to other news:Even though this is very old news from the summa, some people have still been displaying confused faces when a certain “she” was displaying long straightened hair. “Is weave she geh in?” was a popular question among the behind-timers as a certain girl who rocked RAS for the entire lower six showed up with a “new” style.
Aid to confused minds: Once locks aren’t interlocked, they can be loosened.

In other headlines:
Upper six girls, apparently awaiting their final day in college have shortened /purchased cloth to make extremely short skirts. We hope they don’t get thrown out due this apparent lack of material before they even make it to their last days of college..
Also, some people have decided to also rid themselves of their HAIR.. a certain girl with a college-famous mother has decided to rid herself of the burden of a comb and brush and has gone basically flat! Curious minds would like to know whether it’s a family tradition….

CRF would have to take a tour around school tomoro and update y’all.
See u soon!

All About Hair

Well I know how important it is to some of us about losing it and how we don’t want to lose it to someone ignorant.
Yes…our hair is a precious thing and we don’t want anyone who doesn’t know its importance to deal with it. But apparently some students don’t even know it themselves. Hence the recent burst of braids and ugly hair accessories have come into play. While riding in vans and waiting at bus stops I have noticed that our ladies have really no idea anymore as to what they should do with their hair. The answer is easy…try something new, something YOU. As of this moment CRF will not be holding back on anyone with curly polyester hair whether its yours or whether you borrowed it. If u want to be on the safe end of college fashion eyes u would give the hair back. Little sympathy is given to those who cut their hair in the summer and are now having trouble getting new styles for it. One word for yah…GOOGLE….Go looking for some edgy hairstyles or even better create your own. In any case your hair is your pride…work it well. And that goes to our men as well. Most of our males keep themselves looking slick and polished but there are those who don’t try at all. Get some moisturizer (no grease plz!) and get to the moisting. It’s very hard to get past dry hair. Please keep shaved and I mean your face, although I understand some of the factors that may hold u back from doing as such but try hard. Unless u are going for a rustic look which I see some are trying. Let’s see how that works for them shall we? But that’s all for now. Leave your comments, I will hair you.
I’m out like polyester extensions.

SO DESPITE THE SHRINKAGE IN OUR UPPASIX CONTINGENT THERE WERE STILL TOPICS TO BE DISCUSSED AND ASSESSED.
FIRST ON THE LIST ARE OUR 6ers…..NEW GIRLS IN SHORT JEANS SKIRT? HEY, HOW COME SHE COULD WEAR THAT? DON’T TELL ME SHE DON’T HAVE A JEANS PANTS,,,IT WAS A CHALLENGE FOR ME WHILE THINKING ABOUT IT BUT THEN I THOUGHT HOW LESS FORTUNATE CAN SOMEONE BE NOT TO OWN A PAIR OF BLUE JEANS? WHETER IT BE ACID WASH OR DARK BLUE, HEK EVEN BLACK. WHILE CONTEMPLATING ON THE SUBJECT I THOUGHT THAT THERE COULD BE OTHER VALID REASONS FOR HER DRESSCODE. 1) HER JEANS PANTS COULD BE IN THE WASH (although I think jeans look good clean or dirty,,yes they are that versatile).2) HER RELIGION COULD BE AGAINST THE PRACTICE OF WEARING PANTS OR TROUSERS OR,3) SHE FELT LIKE WEARING A SKIRT INSTEAD.
AND THE PPL OF COLLEGE ROCKS FASHION WELCOME ANY SORT OF REBELLION AGAINST UNIFORMED FASHION. JUST MAKE IT WORK.GUYS TOO HAVE BEEN BREAKING THE RULES BY WEARING NAVY BLUE TROUSERS INSTEAD OF JEANS. BUT ALL IS WELL SINCE WE HAVE OUR HOPES UP THAT SOMEONE WOULD KNOCK HIM OUT OF THE PARK THIS WEEK. 3 MORE DAYS TO GO.
APART FROM THEM, THE 6ers WERE ALL OVER THE PLACE WITH THEIR CLOTHES. SOME TRIED TO HARD TILL WE COULDN’T LOOK AT THEM. OTHERS LACKED SPUNK AND CAME OVER SIMPLE, BUT CRF ADMIRES THEM FOR IT. WE ALL ENJOY LOOKING AT THE MAGIC OF TRANSITION, FROM SIMPLE TO SHOCKING IN LESS THAN 1 TERM. SO GO ON WITH YOUR BAD FASHION. UPPASIXERS I MUST SAY ARE LOOKING QUITE GOOD, KEEP IT UP! WE STILL HAVE OUR ‘DON’T GIVE A …’ CREW BUT EVERYTHING TAKES TIME. SO WE ARE MAKING PACE WITH THE CHANGES IN THE SPACE, KEEP YOUR EYES PEELED AND DON’T U DARE CRITICISE SOMEONE FOR HOW THEY LOOK. THAT IS NOT YOUR JOB,,, LEAVE IT TO US THANK YOU.
SLEEP WELL,,,,WE ARE WATCHING YOU

ALL New C.R.F!!

What is good my fellow College Trendsetters?
College Rocks Fashion is back and strutting with our bad selves for another fashion inspiring year. CRF would just like to take this opportunity to thank all our readers, those of CRF and of the thinkoutloud site.
Well we are welcoming a new batch of lower 6ers into our grounds. Some of us would remember what it was like to enter college on the first day. Orientation was good apart from the dress code, you know, the white shirt and blue jeans. However, it’s much better than our current forest green uniform. The members of CRF are giving way to the 6ers by laying down a white carpet. What better way to analyze our trend virgins. We will see our star-wearers, our not so rocking-fashioners and our potential-tryers. But don’t think 4 one moment that College Rocks Fashion is going to forget our new second years who at this time deserves an order of congratulations for making it through to the next round of College Fear Factor. Our eyes are still on you, clothes or lack of it.
Style is very important @ this time and we are looking for greatness this year. Surprise us,,, but ….don’t try too hard.Simplicity looks good on those that wear some confidence with it. The CRF team would be in full observation. So look sharp and hurry….seriously …Look SHARP. (cut pan both sides
